The JS7X is a reliable and durable steam trap with tight shut-off for use on medium size process equipment. The precision ground self-modulating free float provides continuous low velocity condensate discharge even with varying process loads, constant water seal and steam tight sealing even under no load conditions, reduced wear, and a long maintenance free life. The design of the JS7X allows easy inline access to the internal components. The integral thermostatic (x-element) air vent automatically vents air from the system until close to steam pressures are present and the integral strainer ensures extended trouble-free operational life.
